With the snow melting the song of birds reaches us, but also the sound of hammers.

Indeed, the season of renovations begins. Whether it be planned or not, it is important to take a break to ensure ourselves that everything runs smoothly.

We must first ensure ourselves that we are dealing with professionals who know well the type of building and the work that you want to assign to them.

In spite of this essential precaution you must remain vigilant.

We recommend that you make sure that you give the contract only after the following conditions are met:

- Experience of the provider in the type of dwelling aimed at;
- Experience of the provider in the type of work referred;
- The provider and his employees have the required skill cards;
- The company is properly insured according to the scale and type of work to be done;
- A detailed statement of the schedule and work schedule is established;
- The price, the terms and the quality of the provider were validated with a bidding process or by
a professional (an architect, an engineer, etc …);
- The price and the terms of payment are clearly established.

Often it is prudent to establish with an engineer or an architect the work to be carried out with the plans and specifications that will enable you to remain in control of the situation. We tend to go directly to the provider, but it is often not the most effective approach, nor is it the most economical.

We have the particularity to ensure the enjoyment of the premises to our tenants. It is therefore important to ensure that the work schedules and the work to be carried out allow us to meet this obligation. You should know that our tenant could seek compensation even if the work is unavoidable. It is therefore prudent to take the necessary precautions.
