The combination of the large inventory of unsold condos and the interest of many to invest in real estate are the source of a new rental supply in Quebec.

We also note an interest in diversifying the portfolio of investors who often will decide to distribute units they own in several buildings, i.e. in several different areas.

Among the advantages, these investors appreciate the fact that the building is not under their auspices, and therefore their management is limited inside the rented unit. Of course, the consequence of this is important because the investor in this case does not control the condo fees, or the regulations applicable to the units, which will be effective against the tenant as well as the owner of the rented condo.

Indeed, the demand which is constantly growing now justifies the establishment of services that cater specifically to condo owners.

We will hold a seminar on coming December the 10th on the issue. This training session will allow us to better understand the impact of this particular mode of ownership, and this as part of the rental housing process.
